With a landscape architecture degree, a Master's in horticulture, and more than 25 years of experience as a professional plantsman - including 20 as Director of Hermannshof Garden in Weinheim, Germany - Cassian Schmidt is a designer, professor, author, and lecturer. He is developing habitat-based low maintenance perennial planting mixes and effective maintenance concepts based on ecological strategies.
